He graduated in dentistry from Vale do Rio Verde University (MG), specialized in orthodontics at PUC-RJ and completed his master’s degree in orthodontics at São Leopoldo Mandic University (SP), with solid training in Functional Jaw Orthopedics.
In 1988, he began his clinical career in Brasilia, where he developed critical thinking about the traditional models of orthodontics. In 1994, he created the Ertty System, which gave rise to the Ertty Systems, based on the integration of orthodontics, TMD and occlusion, using three-dimensional diagnosis and advanced orthodontic mechanics.
With almost 10,000 cases treated and documented, a strong presence in children’s orthodontics and a focus on highly complex retreatments, Dr. Ertty Silva is recognized as an international lecturer and educator. Of Spanish origin, he graduated in Dentistry from the University of Santiago de Compostela, in Spain, and was awarded the Extraordinary End of Career Prize for the best academic achievement of the year.
He then began his career in Barcelona (Spain), where he completed a Clinical Residency in Oral Implant Dentistry, a Master’s Degree in Clinical Research and Biomaterials in Dentistry and the International Master’s Degree in Oral Surgery – a three-year theoretical-practical training course in which only six students per year are trained in the areas of surgery, implant dentistry and oral rehabilitation.
He obtained his doctorate with a special mention of excellence Cum Laude, for his research
in the context of orthognathic surgery. From then on, she became a lecturer at the
International University of Catalonia (UIC-Barcelona), in the International Master’s Degree in Oral Surgery and Medical-Surgical Pathology.
Still in Barcelona, he had the opportunity to work at the Maxillofacial Institute of the Teknon Medical Center, considered the best private maxillofacial surgery center in Spain for three consecutive years, according to the Monitor de Reputación Sanitaria (MRS).
Six years ago, he moved to Brazil for family reasons and today he finds fulfillment practicing his profession in this country.

Born in Mirassol, São Paulo, he holds a master’s degree in Orthodontics from the São Leopoldo Mandic University, a specialist in Prosthodontics from PUC-RJ (Brazil) and a specialist in Orthodontics and Functional Orthopedics from AORP – Ribeirão Preto.
